By accessing or using Luhnly (the "Site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What this Site does
Luhnly generates card numbers that satisfy the Luhn checksum algorithm and match the length/prefix format of major card networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). These numbers are synthetic: they are not issued by any bank, are not linked to any real account or cardholder, and cannot be used to authorize any real transaction.
2. Permitted use
You may use this Site to generate test data for:
- Software development and QA testing of payment forms, checkout flows, and card-input validation
- Education and demonstration of the Luhn algorithm and card-number formatting
- Automated test suites, sandbox environments, and non-production systems
3. Prohibited use
You may not use this Site, or any output generated by it, to:
- Attempt to make a real purchase or authorize any real financial transaction
- Impersonate a real cardholder or misrepresent generated data as belonging to a real person or account
- Attempt to defraud any individual, merchant, bank, or payment processor
- Circumvent, probe, or attack the security or fraud-detection systems of any third party
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
Because generated numbers are not linked to real accounts, they cannot actually be used to commit the transactions described above — but attempting to do so, or using this tool as part of a broader scheme to do so with other real data, is strictly prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities.
4. No warranty
This Site and its output are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that generated numbers will be accepted by any specific third-party system's validation logic, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luhnly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use this Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Advertising and third parties
This Site may display third-party advertisements (including via Google AdSense) to support free access. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of advertisers or linked third-party sites. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies.
7. Intellectual property
The Site's design, code, and branding are owned by Luhnly and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Card network names (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) are trademarks of their respective owners and are referenced here solely to describe number formats; Luhnly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card network or issuer.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
